A Butterfly in Your Pocket – The New HTC Butterfly X920e

HTC Butterfly, the latest smartphone with full HD 5″ display, quad-core processor, Beats Audio sound and Android Jelly Bean OS, takes wings this month in China. HTC Butterfly, also called the “phablet” in the IT industry, is similar to the two previous HTC smartphones – J Butterfly launched in Japan and HTC Droid DNA designed for US. The phone will be available without contract about $700 USD. However, as it might have been rumored, HTC Butterfly will not have a 4G connectivity, but 3G.

According to the specs, HTC Butterfly OS is Android (4.1.1) Sense 4+ UI, the display resolution is 1080 x 1920 pixels, with light sensor, proximity sensor and scratch-resistant glass. HTC Butterly will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro APQ8064 system chip with Quad core, 1500 MHz, Krait processor and a 2020mAh battery. The handset will work with GSM networks on the 850/900/1800/1900 bands. Moreover, the high-speed butterfly has a 2048 MB RAM system memory, with a 16 GB built-in storage. However, if this is not enough, don’t worry, you can use a microSD or a microSDHC to extend it up to 32 GB. The camera has 8 megapixels and the front-facing camera 2.1 megapixels. Other features of the new Butterfly x920e are the additional microphones for noise cancellation, voice dialing.
