Facebook Jacket – “Like-A-Hug”

Do you have a Facebook account? Are you a fashion addict? Then, you must definetly wear the “Like-A-Hug” Facebook jacket, created by Melissa Chow, student at  Massachussetts Institute of Technology (MIT). The jacket is connected to Facebook website, but only on mobile devices, and everytime you receive a like for a photo, status, it inflates showing the love and support of those who “like” the fresh content. However, if you want to send the “like”back, then you don’t need to do anything but squeeze the vest and deflate it.

This new fashion item will replace the lack of personal touch of the Facebook conversations. “The concept of telepresence arose, and we toyed with the idea of receiving hugs via wireless technology,” she said. “ “Like-A-Hug” Facebook jacket is still unavaible for sale since it might be considered off for viewers in the street. Inserting reality into virtual reality is not an obstacle anymore.
